Note: The above link downloads the installer and uninstaller package programmed in VBA in a DOC duly converted to EXE by the DOCtoEXE to make the installation easier for macro and Microsoft® Windows® laymen; however, if you're an expert and for some reason prefer an installer and uninstaller package in open ZIP format, click here. With this zip package you can install it in two ways: (1) Simply initiate the Install.exe that is the Word Free renamed to load the same DOC in Word without macro alert or (2) Initiate the DOC, enabling the macros in Word and using 123 as password.

1 - Spell Number (Write out numbers using words, such as in check writing protection):

This is a tool to spell or write out the selected or captured numbers between the cursor and the previous space.

The captured number is automatically formatted and then written out between the parentheses in English or in Portuguese, if the paragraph has Portuguese format.

By default, the written check protection wording is formatted for USA currency (Dollar) or Brazil currency (Real), i.e., if the paragraph has a Brazil Portuguese format, or Portugal currency (Euro), i.e., if the paragraph has a Portugal Portuguese format. However, when typing directly in the document, you can interpose the following modifiers (flags) and/or the name of the other entity in singular/plural form between the number and the cursor:

$ - spell fraction with cents (Ideal for coin)

% - spell fraction with decimal point and zeros and written out of the remainder integer (Ideal for percentage)

# - spell fraction with tenths until trillionths (Ideal for pure number)

* - spell fraction with pennies (Ideal for coin)

& - Put comma between the thousandth position in place of the and conjunction

! - Omit 'one' when write 'one thousand'

€ - indicates Euro instead of dollar.

Samples: (See behind of the cursor (|) and the result)

5.20| - 5.20 (five dollars and twenty cents)

5.20$| - 5.20 (five dollars and twenty cents)

5.20$yen| - 5.20 (five yens and twenty cents)

5.20€| - 5.20 (five euros and twenty cents)

 5.20%| - 5.2 % (five point two percent)

 5.20#| - 5.2 (five, and two tenths)

5.20*| - 5.20 (five dollars and twenty pennies)

5.201#dollar| - 5.201 (five dollars and two hundred one thousandths of dollar)

5.201%dollar| - 5.201 (five point two hundred one dollars) etc.

2 - Mark Positions on Document:

This is a tool to mark a position or to go to a formerly marked position on the active document.

Two similar tools can be used to mark two different positions. They are very useful when editing large documents.

3 - Selected Text, Find Next:

This is a tool that is used to find others occurrences of the currently selected text in active document.

If no text is selected, it will repeat the last search. If the tool has not been used to complete a search yet, it will capture the word next to the cursor and show it on the built-in Word find form, allowing you to confirm or edit the captured text.

With this tool, the identification of the locations of other occurrences of unformatted text is done almost immediately without the need to display forms or type. It is very useful when text with several occurrences in large or small documents.

4 - Insert Date and Hour of the System:

This is a tool that inserts the date and hour of the system in the active document with only one click in a complete format with “the day of the week”, “the day of the month”, “the month”, “the year”, “the hour”, “the minutes”, and “the seconds”. This function is not immediately available on Word and in this case it is better edit deleting and moving data than is using Word commands.

For sample:
Friday, August 23, 2002 - 17:49:12 -

5 - Paste Only Text or Only Format from Any Application:

This is a tool used to insert the contents that are on the Windows clipboard as pure text, unformatted text, in the active document with only one click.

Thus, using this tool, you can copy from Word or other Windows application and paste ONLY THE TEXT. This is not possible on Word with one simple click. Only from 2002 (XP) version that smart tags can facilitate this action.

In addition, if the Ctrl or Shift key is pressed when using this tool, ONLY THE FORMAT will be applied to the selection. Word does not have a built-in tool for this functionality when copying from the Windows clipboard. Something like this can only be done internally using the Format Painter tool.

6 - Activate Folder of Active Document:

This is a tool used to activate the folder in which the active document is saved. The active folder is the place that Word originally suggests to open or save documents when the Open or Save As commands are chosen.

This is useful because when you open a document from Windows Explorer or from the Recently Used File List, which is found under the File menu, Word does not activate the folder where the document is saved. Additionally, many times the user must open other documents or link the active document with other documents within the same folder.

7 - Print Book, Handbook...:

This is a tool used to print one or more selected folios from a list box as follows:

1 - Each folio (shape or mould) will be printed in front and verse understanding four pages of the book to be then photocopied in equal number to the number of exemplars wanted for the book

2 - When you cut a folio or a copy in the middle, each resulting half forms a page of the book with the front and verse pages duly sequenced to bound books correctly with until 804 pages

3 - The paper size must be A4 for the book to be with 15.0 cm wide by 21.5 cm high when ready and bound. The CPAP® handbook, which is 250 pages in length, was printed in this format

4 - You will be alerted to replace the folio in the printer each time for the indicated quantity

5 - You can printed several folios each time

6 - If an error occurs and you want to reprint a specific page of the book, select the ''Stop before each page (Option to skip)'' option

7 - To set the margins and paper size of the pages before printing, select the ''Page Setup (Paper, Margins...)'' option. Tip! Get a template of a ready book for Word, MANUAL.DOT, which was used to print the CPAP handbook.

8 - Online Dictionary:

This is a tool used to define the word selected in the document or next to the cursor using a Web dictionary.

If the word in the document is in English, the definition will be taken from Dictionary.com. If the word is in Portuguese, the definition will be taken from iDicionário Aulete. However, the code related to the dictionary choice is open; therefore, you can insert or suggest other online dictionaries or other languages that are supported by Word.
